Ideal Recruit is looking for customer focused 7.5t delivery drivers in Kettering
Role Purpose:
Responsibility for driving a 7.5ft vehicle and effecting multi-drop deliveries to customers homes along with a delivery partner, displaying high standards of customer service.
Home Delivery Drivers work alongside a Driver Mate who are responsible for mapping the appropriate routes for the daily journey and assisting the driver in the making the customer delivery.
Primary purpose of the role:
* Manual Handling of Customer Products, timely and efficient completion of multi-drop deliveries and transportation
* Two persons lifting of heavy items
* To undergo regular training and driving assessments
* To comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures
* Regular completion of vehicle checks
* To maintain regular contact with the transport team
* To comply with working time legislation
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
- Valid Driving License
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
- Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting in line with H&S regulations
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions
- Knowledge of EU driving regulations
- Experience of customer services
- Good understating of English
PAYE pay with holiday included in the rate:
Days: GBP12.26
Overtime after 48 hours: GBP18.39
PAYE pay with holiday accrued separately:
Days: GBP10.94
Overtime after 48 hours: GBP16.41
