Our client is a leading electronics manufacturing company and due to increased business growth Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Quality Engineer.
The successful applicant will join the busy QA team at our client's factory near Nottingham.
The Role:
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for a range of quality engineer duties including but not limited to the following;
Product inspection and recording results
Review and analyse inspection data and other information identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
Carry out internal audits and report findings, identify improvement actions and close off
Over see calibration of testing and measuring equipment
Process non conforming products and material defect reports/actions
Ensure 8D reports are raised, and action, in response to relevant issues.
Assist with Quality Management System improvements and documentation amendmentsCandidate:
You will have at least 3 years previous quality engineer / inspection experience and you will be conversant with management system requirements such as ISO9001 & ISO 14001.
Preferably you will have experience in electronics manufacturing sector however all candidates will be considered.
You will be highly motivated and able to promote continuous improvement philosophy /actions throughout.
Practical knowledge of FMEA and root cause analysis essential.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 39 hours
