Citrix Lead Engineer
Insurance
Gerrard White is currently looking for a Senir Citrix Engineer / Citrix Architect to join a large infrastructure team within a global insurance company as part of the Engineering team.
This role will be 90% project based as well as acting as 3rd level escalations and priority tickets when required. You will also be providing technical leadership on projects for technical delivery.
You will be involved in the implementation of strategy, architecture, standards and roadmaps within end point architecture. As well as Application software packaging, the Citrix Access Layer and associated ecosystem e.g storefront, provisioning server and Citrix Gateways.
Essential skills include (but not limited to):
Citrix (XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x)
Enterprise Layer Manager
Citrix Provisioning Services
Citrix Sharefile
CWEM
HP hardware
Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
Windows Client 7/10
Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
VMWARE/Virtualization technologies
Thin Client Technologies (e.g. Dell Wyse and Dell Wyse Device Manager/Management Suite)
Application packaging (App-V/SCCM)
Automation & Scripting (i.e. Powershell)
Additional desired skills/knowledge/experience:

This role will be a split between remote and office working based in Croydon, Surrey. Previous insurance experience is not essential but any experience within an insurance, financial or banking environment would be advantageous
