We are currently recruiting for Class 1 tonne shunter driver for our clients busy depot based in Worcester. This role is a mix of shunting of vehichles in yard,experience of using a Tug would be an advantage and someone with shunting experience preffered. You would also be required to go out on trunking runs when needed.
We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company's ethos and assist us in the support of our client's day to day operation.
The Job:
-Class 1 shunting within busy transport depot. Use of Tug on occasion
-You may also be required to do a interdepot trunk run if required.
What we offer:
- Hourly Rate: GBP11.15ph PATE (GBP12.50 Inclusive of holiday pay) Enhanced rates for Sundays
- Start times can vary from 05:00 - 18:00
- Part time and Adhoc roles
What we are looking for:
- Valid CE Licence, held for over 1 year
- Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Excellent level or English
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Hardworking
- Good Timekeeping
- Customer care focused
- Well presented
- Physically fit
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
