OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & BOOKKEEPER
6-month Contract Position - Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Salary GBP25,000 to GBP27,000 p.a.
OUTLINE JOB SPECIFICATION
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Processing all aspects of bookkeeping on a weekly/monthly basis via SAGE accounting software; preparing and maintaining all related hardcopy files and spreadsheets; setting up BACS payments; preparing bank deposits
- Combined Book-keeping & Office Administration duties which include:
o Front-of-office reception of visitors, answering incoming calls, dealing with requests as appropriate; issue of parking permits; incoming/outgoing post; filing, office supply purchases, maintenance of office equipment; updating leaseholder and resident databases; arranging contractors for repairs/maintenance as required; assisting the Estate Operations Manager in Co-ordination of caretaker duties; arranging repairs & inspections in Company flats; notices to residents; new resident information packs; annual Garden Party etc
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experienced in SAGE bookkeeping (or similar accounting software)
- Proficient in Excel and generally IT literate
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills, flexible and ability to prioritise workload
- Enjoys a diverse and varied role
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Strong team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; courteous and helpful
