I am working with a well-established organisation based near to Telford that are looking to recruit a new Office Manager to oversee and work within a small and friendly team. Working in the automotive industry, whilst managing your team, you will also be supporting your loyal customers as well as some basic finance / accounts duties where full training will be given.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing all staff matters, including discipline, absence, sickness, holidays, rotas.

* Providing cover for activities/responsibilities of staff members in their absence

* Updates and compliance with current legislation.

* Dealing with all aspects of membership online, dealing with people over the phone and via email and at events supported by the Office.

* Inputting/editing data on the database and the distribution of new member packs and new membership cards for renewing members.

* Preparing and distribution of monthly renewal notices.

* Liaising with the Club Sales Manager, ordering stock and customer direct orders.

* Taking orders over the phone and dealing with the invoicing/taking payment/distribution.

* Web access reset for members unable to access 'members pages' and assistance with registration.

* Attending events: driving promotional vehicle, maintenance of vehicle including checking of levels, equipment, tyre pressures and cleaning as required.

* Loading/unloading of promotional vehicle for events & shows.

* Dealing with event bookings/track days over the phone and online.

* Liaising with event leads, ticketing and attendee's reports via Xero or Excel.

* Ordering event supplies such as refreshments, wristbands and consumables.

* Utilising Club Software (Xero/PayPal) reconciling bank account with accounting software, including downloading reports and inputting data, supplier invoices and payment schedules, debt & stock control and producing reports as required.

* Downloading merchandise orders and dealing with the invoicing/distribution

* Maintaining up to date contacts list.

Skills and Experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has some office management experience and likes a broad and varied role. As this role is in the automotive sector, this might suit someone who has an interest in cars, but this isn't essential. The core skills required for this role are good management skills, well organised, good attention to detail to support with the accounts and invoicing procedures. You must be flexible to attend some events throughout the year (approximately 8 and any hours will be given back in time off). This will possibly mean driving a van to events with goods. This van can be driven on a normal UK car licence.
