A secondment opportunity has arisen in our Learning and Development team to provide maternity cover. This is an exciting development opportunity for the right person to join a forward thinking and busy team.
Reporting to Jen Simons, we are looking for someone who is confident, engaging, positive and enthusiastic, with a passion for learning.
This individual will demonstrate an ability to engage others in their learning journey, be adaptable to the ever changing industry and business requirements, and have a creative flair throughout their work.
We will provide a handover and mentoring throughout this maternity /secondment cover.
The main responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team to design, deliver and evaluate non-technical learning programmes for strategic and operational project initiatives
* Provide support with CPD events to meet annual minimal requirements for all RICS professionals
* Ensure all learning styles and people with learning difficulties are considered during the design and review of all non-technical training material
* Provide administration support on the Learning Management System and other areas within the department, to deliver a blended approach to learning across the business; including eLearning, virtual classrooms and classroom-based training events
* Ensure compliance with company and team brand standards and current legislation
* Adhere to Quality Management guidelines, as directed, in line with the framework of ISO 9001.
Preferred experience (however, not essential):
* Practical experience as an internal/external Learning & Development practitioner utilising a range of methodologies, including experiential learning, blended learning and eLearning
* Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing others in a complex fast paced environment
* Demonstrates an understanding of adult learning theories and management methodologies
* Good experience of the training cycle including Training Needs Analysis, Training Design, Training Delivery and Evaluation.
Essential experience:
* Knowledge of the Surveying business
* Ability to work as part of a team and a can do attitude
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficient planning and organisational skills
* Excellent IT skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
* Awareness of the value and importance of equality and diversity
The successful individual will gain further knowledge in the learning world from the experience of the team, up to date learning trends, the confidence to deliver and design content and so much more!
