A leading Ecommerce retail business are looking for a Junior Merchandiser - Fashion & Footwear . As the business progresses through its digital transformation, towards next ambition target, this opportunity forms part of the wider organisational development of the Buying and Merchandising team, in support of that target
Description
In depth analysis of product and performance in order to grow and adapt the range
Range Planning and Sign off presentations
Effectively manage in season trading, presenting finding and actions in weekly trade meetings.
Effectively manage stock levels, pricing and in season re-purchases: being responsive to sales and trends.
Working with marketing and e-commerce in order to achieve synergies and drive product efficiently.
Managing and developing new assistant merchandisers
Estimate sales for all products in the range.
Raising and placing orders with UK suppliers and Far East factories.
Manage the critical path, liaise with factories to ensure production and shipment dates are maintained.
Analyse sales, re-forecast future sales to the end of the season and place further orders to cover the forecast.
Produce weekly out of stock report.
Collate and report all merchandisers out of stock reports to the Merchandiser Manager.
Report all late deliveries across the business to buyers for potentially fining the supplier.
Produce weekly report for lines that will not be in stock launch.
Ensure number of weeks stock cover does not riseProfile
Currently Assistant Merchandiser, Senior Assistant Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or similar.
Advanced excel skills
Experience of managing Merchandise Admins/ Assistant Merchandisers etc.
Able to work independently.
