A highly successful engineering company based in Maidenhead are looking for a CNC/Manual Grinder to join their team. The company are market leaders, offering a state of the art manufacturing facility producing components for various industries aerospace, motor sport, F1
The Role
The company are looking for an engineer who can set and operate CNC/Manual grinding machines working on small to medium batch work quantities.
Duties
Setting and operating of CNC / Manual Grinding machines.
Experienced work holding methods and best practice.
High Precision machining.
Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings.
Operating tools to engineering drawings and designs.
Directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in setting and operating of CNC / Manual grinding machines.
Applicant must be able to understand drawings with close tolerances
Experienced in grinding different types of materials.
Must be self-motivated, shows initiative, has the ability to problem solve and work alone.
A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage is essential.
Experience operating Studer grinding machines with Fanuc control
Motorsport or Aerospace background
Machines we have are detailed below, salary up to GBP16 - GBP20 /hr depending on experience.

Mon to Thurs start 15:30 finish 00:00
