We are currently recruiting a Support Coordinator to join the management team at our vibrant service in Warrington, Cheshire.

This service in Warrington, Cheshire provides support to two male service users with complex needs living in their own homes. As Support Coordinator, you will supervise and manage established teams of staff providing person-centered support to enable service users to maintain their independence, experience improved wellbeing and enjoy opportunities for personal development. Your role will combine the provision of direct care and support with staff management and coordination of this lively Warrington service. You will need a positive and empowering approach with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and the families of service users and other agencies and professionals.

Your role will include:

* Providing excellent, person-centres support to service users,

* Ensuring the smooth running of the service,

* Supervision of staff and management of staff rota's,

* Attending meetings and reviews, reviewing and updating key documentation,

* Full time hours (37.5 hours per week), to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service to include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays,

* Being a car driving and having access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.

You will need to have prior relevant experience in social care and have an understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and complex care needs.

You will be patient, professional and well organised with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with a passion for quality and personalised service provision. You will be able to liaise proactively and effectively with Care Managers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. It is essential that you have a minimum of NVQ3/H &SC Diploma Level 3 or equivalent and be willing to train to level 5.

The service is based in the Cinnamon Brow Area of Warrington, Cheshire. It is based near to a local bus route and a local one stop shop. This rewarding position will provide you with a great opportunity to develop your career in social care management.
