SEND Support Worker
South Gloucester
GBP60.00 - GBP85.00 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a level 3 Qualification in Child Care or Teaching Assistant and at least 6 weeks experience working with Child and Young People with SEND.
The role:
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an SEND Support Worker / SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant to work in a local Primary setting in South Gloucester.
You will be working with small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
SEND Support Worker / SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant is an important role in helping to create structure and a positive experience in the students' academic learning therefore we are looking for a committed, hardworking individual to join the team. This is a full-time role.

Requirements
To be considered for the SEND Support Worker / SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant role you must:
Have some knowledge of SEND including but not limited to ASD, ASC, SEMH.
Be adaptable and proactive, able to deal with challenging behaviour effectively
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
Have Team Teach training or be willing to attend the FREE course held by Vision for Education
