Permanent role, great company and long terms security to all the Surface Mount Technology Technicians looking for a new role in this Global manufacturing facility.
Driving continued improvement measures and setting up all necessary equipment and machine operation, line maintenance, training and helping operators on machine operation whilst ensuring correct programming during production runs.
Checking production documentation, and liaising with Quality and Engineering on SMT queries. Responsible for new product pre-production batch introduction, check components on bill of materials and engineering change update for existing products and process. Maintain and record accurate stock levels via weekly stock check (PI checks) and participate in activities to reduce stock loss. Inspecting and fault-finding down to component level.
The person:
Ability to read and interpret engineering/mechanical drawings
Minimum 2 years' experience of operating SMT machines
Minimum 2 years' experience with pick & place, reflow, screen printing and AOI machines
Competent at component level fault finding and repairIn return, the successful applicant can look forward to joining a global manufacturing business who is going from strength to strength in a permanent secure role working Monday to Thursday on a rotating early and late shift pattern.
