We are looking for a Content Creator to help tell our story. If you can take complicated or technical messages and make them simple, engaging, and visually appealing - then this is the ideal role for you.

Working within the communications team this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creative communications and the role it can play to help motivate, engage and educate both internal and external audiences.

We are looking for someone who can assist in developing the Levenseat brand by creating regular engaging content for stakeholders across all relevant company communication channels including, social media channels, website, intranet, newsletters and email marketing for example.

You will source and identify stories and opportunities that will resonate with our core audiences and turn them into compelling content. Core audiences include team members, customers, and members of the public who are interested in what happens to their waste.

You will help to develop materials as part of the toolkits we are developing for health & safety and school educational resources on the topics of recycling and energy from waste.

You will have a natural flair for creating content for marketing campaigns to drive leads and use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our sites.

At times you may have to create material to help explain complex and sometimes controversial subjects, such as energy from waste or landfill, you should be sensitive to the needs and concerns of different people and channel that sensitivity into your communications.

You will work with the Communications Manager to pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms.

Additional Information

Interviews are likely to take place week commencing 23rd May 2021.

This is a full-time position though flexible working arrangements, part-time hours, or job-sharing arrangements will be considered.

Essential Skills

  • Strong written skills and experience of using the principles of plain English to edit complex information into digital and offline content that is concise, accurate and relevant.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills so you produce content to strict deadlines, able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and changing deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of usability and accessibility standards for digital content, and how to apply them in practice.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
  • Have a strong understanding of websites and social media and experience using WordPress is preferred as is experience of producing content in a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
  • Component in the use of the Microsoft suite including, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and TEAMS.

Desirable Skills

Experience of working in an operational environment would be advantageous as you will be required to visit the operational site.
