REED HR are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and growing business who due to expansion is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor (CIPD is preferred)

THE ROLE:
- Deliver an effective HR service to the assigned business areas, assisting People Leaders to understand and implement policies and procedures and in line with best practice in people management.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices and ensure compliance providing professional advice and guidance.
- Provide effective case management across your region, complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies and reevaluation of posts in accordance with both policies and procedures.
- Supporting People Leaders in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues such as attendance review meetings, performance management, grievance, disciplinary, restructures and redundancies and re-evaluation of posts, in accordance with both policies and procedures and best practice.
- Manage the Maternity, Paternity, adoption and Flexible working requests for RFM business units.
- Responsible for all aspects of advising recruiting managers on the most cost-effective recruitment methods ensuring that role profiles are accurate and appropriate to the vacancy.
- Responsible for advising managers on the agency process and ensuring that agency spend is kept to a minimum, liaising with agencies as appropriate under the process.
- Maximise use of People Platform (including reporting) and ensure information being entered is accurate.
- Ensure you are a confident user and champion of People Platform, undertaking training as required.
THE PERSON:
- Previous experience in a HR advisory role is preferred. Likely to have in excess of 2 years HRA experience.
- Degree or equivalent
- Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification or willing to work towards
- Commercially aware
- Committed to CPD.
- Focused and highly motivated.
- Planning/prioritising and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiating and mediation skills
- Ability to cope under pressure.
- Knowledge and understanding of various sectors of the Group.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
