IT Manager - Windows Infrastructure and Team Management - Blackpool
Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful multinational organisation in the Blackpool area to recruit an IT Manager to lead, manage and motivate their Technical Services team. We are looking for someone with both man-management skills and a strong technical background in on-premise Windows Servers and Cloud, Networking, IT Security and Wireless technologies.
You will be responsible supporting the technical delivery of customer solutions, recruiting, motivating and leading the Technical Services team, identifying and planning for training needs, allocating tasks and resources, reporting on team performance and utilisation and provide technical leadership and guidance to the team. You will also support the Sales teams with proposals, estimates and the technical specifications for WLAN site surveys for customers. As a Technical Services Manager you will gravitas and passion to motivate, mentor and coach employees.
To be considered you will have at least 3 years experience in a Windows Server Administration / Infrastructure role covering Windows Servers, Virtual Servers Hyper-V (or VMWare also considered), Windows Desktops, Security and Firewalls, Networking - VLANS, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, L2 /L3 routing and firewalls. You will ideally have worked in a Management or Team Lead role and any experience with Enterprise Wireless solutions would be beneficial.
