Our client is a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products. They have an excellent opportunity for a Client Manager (Pharmacist) to be based in Chessington. We are seeking someone who has clinical knowledge with a strong commercial mindset.

Location: Remote / Chessington

This role is required to develop and sell in contract sales, training, data, marketing, brand support and Pharmacy Services to manufacturers within both the Pharma and Consumer Healthcare sectors. This includes management of existing Client contracts and the ongoing delivery of new pipeline development activities in order to identify new services opportunities within existing and new Clients which support the achievement of our clients revenue and trading profit budgets. This role requires the capability to build long term client relationships and respond to Client requests whilst overseeing the delivery against agreed KPI to ensure service excellence is achieved. Working autonomously and as part of the wider Client Services team to scope requirements and deliver services that meet their changing Clients' needs and objectives whilst suggesting the most profitable and cost-effective method of service delivery at all times.

This role requires the post holder to lead the delivery and implementation of existing service models, support the Pharma Services Manager with the delivery of the Pharma Services agenda, and the design of new services, as well as provide insights and data as required for the wider department. This role will also provide technical support to the wider team and oversee the implementation of existing and new services.

Our ideal candidate will have/be;

Commercially focussed with experience in Supplier Relations & Account Management
Professional qualification - Degree in Pharmacy / Registered Pharmacist
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience of pharmacy regulation, operating procedures, implementing services
Knowledge of category management and experience of promotions management
The ability to analyse and interpret numerical data, manufacturer presentations or market reports and draw reasoned conclusions
Able to think and act strategically and able to develop and execute business plans
Knowledge of retail Health & Beauty & Medical Ethical categories an advantage
Skilled in the creation and management of cross functional working teams
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to deadlines, must be a quick decision maker
Ability to communicate and present at all levels up & down stream including MDs and Sales Directors
Ability to develop long term relationships with strong interpersonal skills
