Machine Operator Bradford - Double days

Advantage are currently recruiting for one of our fast-paced, Bradford based manufacturing clients, who are looking for a Machine Operator to join their team on a Temporary basis with a view of going Permanent after 12 weeks, for the right candidate. The main purpose of the role is to operate machines ensuring production targets are achieved.
The role:
" Loading the machine
" Ensuring smooth flow of product runs through the machine
" Monitoring each stage of the machine to ensure no jams or quality issues
" Quality control/ inspection
" Packing from the end of the machine
" Weighing products
" Boxing
" Labelling
" Palletising
" Working to production targets
" Entering numerical information onto records and PC
" Working on high speed machinery
The ideal candidate:
" Previous experience of working on high speed machinery
" Must be able to work at speed
" Have the ability to multi task to keep the machine loaded and running
" Have quality inspection skills
" Have the ability to check own work
" Flexible to work in another department where necessary
" Have an element of flexibility regarding working hours
Hours:
" Double Day shifts Monday to Friday 06:30 - 14:00/ 14:00 - 22:00 (19:30 finish Fridays)
Salary and benefits:
" GBP9.50 per hour
" Temporary with the view of going permanent after 12 weeks
