Celsian Education are currently working with a specialist setting in Leeds who require an additional teaching assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs including SEMH, Autism and complex needs. The school caters for students from Early Years up to Post 16.

Your main responsibilities as a teaching assistant:
- Working with students in small groups and doing 1:1 interventions
- Managing challenging behaviours and supporting the class teacher throughout the day
- Monitoring students and tracking progress
- Using your imagination and being adaptable with lesson plans and activities, ensuring that all students have access to learning
- Having clear communication with the class teacher and other members of staff
The ideal candidate will be:
- empathetic and thoughtful
- able to manage behaviours and difuse situations
- good at building and maintaining strong relationships
- confident and flexible.
