HGV Class 1 / Category C and E vehicles Drivers Required To support any other operation where applicable:

Role:

To take a professional approach to your daily driving duties, whilst promoting a positive image of the Business. Ensure Business, Customer Service and Health and Safety compliance.

HGV Class 1 / Category C and E vehicles Drivers Main duties and Responsibilities

• Report to the Transport Office at the start and end of your shift unless based at a satellite depot or customers premises

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of your paperwork at all times

• Maintain a good working knowledge of Transport Legislation. Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with the Company Procedures and report any vehicle defects immediately

• Maintain a high standard of Behaviour and Appearance • Ensure that you are wearing the correct PPE at all times.

• Effectively manage your own working time Directive covering all Legislation

• Immediately report any problems regarding deliveries, arrival times, delays or other Road Traffic incidents that may affect Customer service or Health & Safety.

• Ensure POD's are signed and returned to the transport office after delivery • Ensure good communication with the Transport Office throughout your working day. • Observe and adhere to Company rules and procedures including all aspects of Health and Safety

• To attend staff meetings as and when required. • To help and support the Transport Manager/Operation where applicable
