Civils Supervisor
Atkins Search are recruiting a Civils Supervisor on a Freelance or Permanent basis for a Nottingham based principal main contractor.
The Client
Our client is a well-established contractor specialising in commercial projects of circa GBP30m
The Role
This is a Site based role for a design and build project in Leicestershire to support the site-based Project Manager, you will be responsible for the civils and temporary works co-ordination aspects of the project.
General duties will include (not limited to):
* Reading drawings and keeping an update drawing file
* Writing Inspection and Test Plan from specifications
* Completing QA inspections (depths/cubes/rebar/air tests)
* Keep updated and accurate QA files
* Write and manage a thorough daily diary (labour, plant, materials, delay, errors, corrections)
* Liaising with Clerk of Works and client visits.
* 100% subcontract labour
* Traffic management
* Pedestrian-vehicle Segregation
* Section 106 connection
* Drainage
* Pad foundations
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally have an engineering background with experience as a Temporary Works Co-ordinator, extensive civils and groundworks knowledge and experience working for main building contractors. SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS is essential.

This role is open to freelance and permanent candidates, excellent salary / day rate plus full professional benefits package on offer.
