The Foxwood Team are on the lookout for an experienced Product Manager for a Cardiff-based client who are making big waves within the tech-for-good sector. The successful candidate will help shape and manage the delivery of IT products to support a rapidly growing customer base. Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with both internal and external stakeholder groups to develop and manage our client's in-home hardware, which integrates with business-critical areas such as our client's usage management app, assessment and predictive tooling.
The scope of this role covers development and delivery of end-to-end innovative solutions to enhance the functionality of our client's in-home hardware on both the hardware and software levels.
What Are the Role's Responsibilities?
* Serve as primary product expert for the business' in-home hardware.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to outline the strategic product roadmap.
* Shape and maintain the product and ongoing roadmap.
* Understand the customer needs and ensure clearly documented the high-level objectives.
* Manage stakeholder expectations in relation to products, time, costs and risk.
* Develop and provide cost estimates for potential solutions for budget planning.
* Refine and document requirements and user stories to provide the development team with a clear vision of tooling creation and enhancement.
* Responsibility for release approval, focusing on user story compliance and QA.
* Engage with IT technology suppliers on new or existing IT solutions.

* Success in building people networks with a diverse set of stakeholders.
* Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
* Successful experience of leading diverse teams and managing complex engagements.
* Knowledge of data management requirements related to energy profiling and customer interface.
* Understanding of IOT architectures and data processing.
* Experience of shaping portfolios, roadmaps, cost estimates, budget planning, and delivery of whole end to end IT platforms.
* Oversight of IT teams to deliver new IT technologies, platforms, infrastructure and networks.
* Awareness of cultural differences in relationships and working practices.
