Our long term client are looking for an experienced Design/Project Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Redhill, Surrey. Established client with interesting projects.
Job Overview
Responsible for mechanical and electrical design. This includes bespoke designs on existing products as well as designs for new R&D projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for the creation of parts and BOM's and updating the company's ERP system.
Responsible for the mechanical and electrical design of products.
Responsible for providing assembly drawing packs for all main assemblies to the workshop.
Responsible for assisting with company projects. Providing drawings, specifications and customer specific documentation.
Responsible for all product related specification documentation.
Ensuring all updates conform to version control procedures.
Updating tasks to provide visibility of workload and scheduled tasks.
Qualifications/Competency
Proficient in the use of Solidworks.
Technical experience / proficiency.
M & E experience.
Office 365 application experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Monday to Friday - 40 hour week
