Expleo currently have an opportunity for Engineering Database Coordinator to support a brand renowned for their unique and futuristic vision for the automotive industry, working in a permanent role in Surrey.
Working within the Company's Design, Engineering and Technical Procurement functions to ensure the Bill of Materials is accurate with regards to part specification, weight and cost. The function ensures that Engineering releases are correctly documented and recorded in the BoM.
For the Engineering Database Coordinator role, you will be involved in;
Assisting with the creating and documenting of part specific composite layup manuals, and the transfer of these manuals to external suppliers.
Managing the transfer and storage of CAD data both to internally and externally.
Providing accurate prototype BoM information and ensuring all build deviations are recorded and documented correctly.
Support the development of an Engineering Database and BoM system to satisfy the Company's requirements.
Use high level Product specifications to develop an initial BoM to support concept cost and timing.The successful candidate will ideally be educated to a degree level in a mechanical or aeronautical discipline and have a strong focus on VBA, strong Excel capability and knowledge of Macros.
