A popular Merton Primary mainstream school is recruiting for a part time 1:1 ASD SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September 2021. This will be in their ASD Provision

In September 2021 this Merton Primary School is recruiting a part time ASD Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). This is for an ongoing long-term contract. To be successful in this post you must have been either a SEN TA/ TA /HLTA or Youth Worker. You will have 1:1 and small group ASD experience with children. Your experience will have been n either a Primary School/ SEN School / Youth Centre/ Secondary School/Alternative Provision or PRU. You will be working with primary children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, planning fun and engaging sensory activities.

Your most recent job is as either an SEN TA/ TA/ HLTA/ Youth Worker or LSA
Primary Children 1:1 and small group experience (Complex Needs and ASD)
Good experience planning activities for therapeutic play
Worked in either a Primary School / Secondary School/ SEN School/ PRU or Alternative Provision
in-date DBS with the update service or willing to pay and complete a DBS application ASAP
Available September 2021
Can travel easily to Merton
