Top Workforce Recruitment is a Healthcare Agency which specialise in supplying Agency Nurses and Healthcare Assistants to NHS Trust and private healthcare organisations
Due to expansion, we are currently seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (Band 5,6 and 7) to work in NHS hospitals in Stoke On Trent and surrounding community hospitals.
Requirements to register as a Nurse with our Agency and work with our Clients, you will need to have at least 6 months previous experience in a UK Care home/Hospital/Nursing home.
In addition, you will need:
Valid NMC registration pin.
• Enhanced Disclosure
• Passport or another photo ID
• Proof of Right to Work in UK
•Two employment references covering 3 years
• Immunisation: MMR, TB, Varicella and test results of Hepatitis B immunisation
• Proof of N.I. (N.I. cards, P60)
• Proof of membership of UNISON/RCN (if applicable)
• Evidence of Mandatory Trainings.
* MAPA/PMVA training certificate (If available)
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse your role will include:
* Assessing the patients on admission, as well as on a regular basis throughout
* Developing care plans of nursing care requirements and treatments
* Building trust and therapeutic relationships with patients
* Administering medication as prescribed by the doctors
* Monitoring physical health and wellbeing, and progress of patients
* Writing and updating patient records
* Assessing treatment success at case conferences and meetings
* Ensuring correct documentation of patient care and all other legal documentation are in order
* Giving advice and arranging support for patients and their relatives, carers, and visitors
* Liaising with doctors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
