CRP Group are proud to be supporting a public sector organisation-based Sheffield who are looking to recruit a 1st line support engineer for initially a 4-month project. The successful candidate will be expected to:

??Prioritise and co-ordinate an effective, timely 1st line support service to internal and external customers.

??Actively manage and classify support requests received, including assessing the business priority.

??Analyse, diagnose, and take ownership of 1st line faults through to resolution.

??Determine and escalate support requests to the appropriate 2nd/3rd line team, where necessary using 3rd party contacts. Liaise with customer to inform of resolutions.

??Input and maintain records within the software and hardware assets and contracts databases.

??Monitor Infrastructure systems for alerts and potential problems, providing timely advice to the relevant teams

??Provide and maintain supplies of printing and copier consumables to all customers to ensure continuous provision of printing facilities as set out in service level agreements.

??Knowledge and experience of the basic functions of computer hardware, software and communications infrastructure sufficient to take messages, log calls and provide limited advice
