Customer Operations Manager Edinburgh

Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Operations Manager to work with a large Independent Technology Partner in Edinburgh. The role will be to provide leadership for a dynamic and forward-thinking team. You will be accountable for delivering an exceptional customer experience, leading a team of customer executives who will have a deep understanding of customer requirements and contracts. Their role is to oversee the overall customer experience within Group Technology Sourcing. The team is a commercially minded customer service function, which owns and manages all pre-sales quotations and pricing for customer bids.
The client works closely with the Country Units, Expert Services and Operations to serve our customers effectively.

The role
You will be accountable to review performance to ensure the team are working as effectively and efficiently as possible. You must have strong stakeholder management experience and actively plan and distribute workload appropriately to ensure that business needs and deadlines are met. There will be a need to control relevant cost lines to meet budgetary requirements and implements suitable measures to increase sales and margins.
Also performing headcount planning for the team, and implementing necessary personnel measures at a divisional level. You will be responsible for resolving customer escalations in a timely manner to avoid disruption and minimise business impact. Knowing and controlling commitments to clients eg SLA, quotation completion time, delivery time, penalties, etc will be important.

What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience of leading small to medium sized teams within a sales environment. You must be able to prioritise and contributes to the vision and strategic planning process for the company. Commercial experience and ability to build and develop cross-functional teams & relationships are important. You will need to identify strengths of individual team members and encourage use of those strengths to accomplish team goals.
