Based in a modern, BRC accredited facility, the business work with some of the biggest and most progressive names in grocery retail, wholesale and convenience stores.

The Production Shift Manager is responsible for the supervision of designated Operatives working within the production and packing areas. You will report on individual staff performance plus overall production performance against set KPI's whilst seeking opportunities to minimise costs and reduce wastage.
Key duties:
* Ensure Operatives are punctual, efficient, and wearing the correct PPE.
* Inspect and record the condition of equipment.
* Assist in the manufacture and packing of all food products.
* Assisting with the achievement of production targets.
* Populate and maintain production report database.
* Reporting Food Safety concerns.
Your experience
To be considered for the Production Shift Manager job, you will have the ability to apply good manufacturing practices to consistently operate to a high standard of food quality and food safety.
We are seeking a good team player who has solid experience working in a food packing or food production role together with supervisory, management or team leader experience.
You will have a hands-on, can-do work approach, can lead by example plus be a positive and committed Manager. Qualifications such as Food Hygiene, Food Safety, Health & Safety would be a benefit.

The Production Shift Manager job is based in the North West region and is paying GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm (with an early finish on a Friday). Some flexibility will be required to work up to one Saturday per month, plus sometimes start/finish 30 minutes earlier or later according to peak production periods.
