Personal Tax Assistant

Reed Accountancy in Practice are delighted to be partnered with a highly regarded Independent Chartered Accountancy Firm based in West Edinburgh in their search for a Personal Tax Assistant. Experience within an Accounting Firm/Mid-Tier Practice would be of particular interest.

The ideal candidate could be ATT qualified or studying for ATT or want to start studying for this qualification. My client will offer a study package for ATT and also the CTA qualification in due course for the right candidate

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Tax return preparation and calculation of tax liabilities
• Preparation of capital gains tax computations
• Preparation of partnership tax returns
• Preparation of P11d's
• Drafting letters to clients, H M Revenue & Customs and third parties
• Telephone and email communication with clients, HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties
• Liaising with other staff and directors to ensure that we provide the best service to our clients
• Booking in client records and the control of these
