Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Turner with the ability to set a wide range of machines from Fanuc Lathes to our Star sliding heads.
The ideal applicant will be competent enough to work from drawings, select tooling and program on machine to produce a finished component. The role will be setting about 80% repeat and 20% new workfrom short 1offs to production runs in a wide range of materials, monitoring your own work and working with machine operators as needed.
This position does not suit somebody who has only basic Fanuc editing skills and whilst there will be help to transition to their machines, they do not expect to be training the person from scratch. The person whould be used to setting a wide range of work and keeping a range of machines going. Would suit a person that likes to be busy and will seek work that needs to be done
