Our client based a few miles west of Cambridge is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Technician to start immediately on a 6 month booking which may be extended. The hours of employment are 07.15 to 16.00 Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will have good hands on experience of high precision mechanical assembly and testing skills. You will assemble and test products in accordance with established procedures and work to ensure that agreed deadlines and manufacturing targets are met.
Requirements:
* Assembly & sub-assembly of small mechanical/electrical sub modules and functional test stages within the flow line.
* Trouble-shoot malfunctions, carry out modifications and build prototypes as required.
* Undertake testing to the vacuum specification.
* Be responsible for the maintenance of test equipment under your care.
* Participate in Lean activities as required.
* Perform other duties that may be required from time to time& comply with Company procedures and controls (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)
