Job Purpose:

To be fully responsible, for all aspects of Cruise Passenger Services (parking) including manning, invoicing, health and safety, discipline, quality and compliance standards, customer liaison, and overall cost and efficiency of all cruise vessel activity.

Main responsibilities:

?? To ensure that all operating costs are kept within budget.

?? To ensure that the companies H&S policy, and procedures are strictly always adhered to, by maintaining and instilling in others, a safe working environment.

?? To ensure that manning levels are maintained to meet the operational requirements.

?? To keep strict control over all invoice activity relating to each cruise vessel visit, by ensuring that all invoices are presented accurately in line with customer requests.

?? To meet in full the customers' expectations with regards to the operational requirements for all customer parking requests.

?? To Manage and plan compound movements in between vessel arrivals, maximising productivity and efficiencies.

?? Maintain strict control of drivers, to reduce the risk of damage to customer's vehicles.

?? To produce timely and accurate reports, when requested by the Operations Director and the Home Port Operations teams.

?? To ensure that all company equipment, specific to the cruise parking operation is kept maintained, and serviceable.

?? Ensure that all 'customer' facing staff always maintains the highest standards, attitude and appearance.

?? Liaise closely with the Cruise Manager during the vessel operation.

?? To be flexible and fully support the Companies, business, aims and objectives.

?? To enforce the Companies discipline and grievance procedures.

?? To keep up to date, and available to attend training courses when required.

?? Maintain the companies, quality process and compliance standards / procedures.

?? To take part in duty rosters as directed by the Operations Director.

?? Ensure that the ISPS requirements are always met and adhered too, including compound security.

Other duties:

?? To fully support, and work closely with the Dover Home Port Operations team, Ground Service Manager.

?? Liaise and meet with the relevant Dover Port Head of Cruise, Operations Managers when required.

?? To monitor and Manage cost affectively all staff hours.

?? Deputise for other CPS Operational Managers as and when requested in his or her absence.

?? Attend meetings internal and external in line with job requirements and the needs of the business.

?? Maintain excellent communications with customers, Managers, and your teams, always.

?? To introduce, Manage and monitor operational performance by way of Key Performance Indicators [KPI'S]

?? To take part in monthly 'customer' revues when requested.

?? To maintain a clean and safe working environment by encouraging good 'house-keeping.

?? Play an active role regarding the development of all your immediate reports, by way of annual appraisals.
