An excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, flexible and experienced Flow Cytometry Senior Scientist to join a leading life science company!
Responsibilities:
* Developing and validating complex multi-parameter biomarker assays for use in clinical studies to support data contributing to disease heterogeneity, drug-target engagement/MOA and patient responses
* Act as a technical expert to support high parameter phenotyping of immune cell subsets, receptor occupancy endpoints, and intracellular staining of cytokines and phosphorylated signaling molecules by flow cytometry (BD Cytoflex)
* Responsible for completion of all aspects of assay workflow including reagent selection/optimization, sample preparation, sample acquisition, data analysis & interpretation, and presentation
* Training and mentoring junior scientists
Candidate Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience with immunological assays e.g. Flow Cytometry, ELISA etc
* Experience developing, validating, and troubleshooting assays
* Strong theoretical and practical understanding of flow cytometry with experience to design and execute 10+ color flow cytometry panels
* Strong laboratory experience and understanding of clinical and non-clinical flow cytometry biomarker assay development, validation and implementation
* Considerable experience in the use of flow cytometry analysis software (FCS Express highly preferred)
* Awareness of industry regulations, GCP and GLP
