We are Recruiting a permanent Maintenance Electrician to join our Skilled Engineering Team and work at our busy Paper Mill in Lancaster.
The Paper Mill operates 24 hours day 365 days a year, manufacturing "Away from Home" Paper rolls.
THE ROLE
Working as a Maintenance Electrician within an established maintenance team. Responsibilities will include routine maintenance tasks, fault finding and repairing electrical equipment including responding to emergency breakdowns. You will need the capability to work independently or as part of a team and you must be prepared to work hours to suit the needs of the business.
Basic PLC programming skills and inverter programming skills and experience would be an advantage.
Essential that all candidates have a minimum of being "time served" electricians.
THE HOURS
The successful candidate will work a 40-hour week (8:00 am to 4:30 pm weekdays with 1/2-hour lunchbreak).
Holidays 25 days + 8 Bank Holidays.
Call-out on 3-week Rota with a lieu day scheme.
