Pyramid8 are delighted to be working with our client to recruit a Commercial Energy Assessor.
About our client:
Our client is an award-winning, experienced building compliance company providing a wide range of energy assessment, compliance, consultancy and testing services for the UK residential and commercial sectors. They provide Energy assessment, Building compliance and Consultancy services to Housebuilders, Contractors & developers, Architects, M&E engineers, Local authorities, Self-builders & homeowners.
This is a permanent full-time role, Monday-Friday which is also office based. There will be some flexibility in terms of work from home. Their offices are based around the Horsforth area.
About the role:
• Produce SBEM calculations (minimum Level 4 NDEA)
• Produce energy statements/sustainability reports
• Thermal Modelling (Experience in TM52, TM54 and TM59)
As an NDEA Commercial Energy Assessor you will work on a variety of projects with a focus on building compliance/energy assessment and consultancy. We are looking for someone who will bring their proven experience and join our dynamic and expanding team.
You'll be a key and valued member of the team, as our client continue their journey to constantly improve the service offering to customers.
Preferred but not essential duties:
• Producing SAP calculations (OCDEA)
• Carry out BREEAM assessments
• Daylight modelling and assessment
• Overheating Assessments
Skills and Experience:
• Experience using SAP software (FSAP preferred)
• Experience using Design Builder or IES software
• Experience within the construction industry/built environment
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations & Renewables
