Extrastaff have a great job opportunity to join our driving team within a logistics and Distribution company based in Brooklands (Surrey).
About This Role
As a Class 2 driver you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of goods to local small depots in the Southampton and surrounding areas.
Class 2 drivers will be required to complete 3-4 drops per shift. The role can be physical at times and involves regular use of pump truck to move pallets. No hand balling. Good communication skills are required in order to communicate with the dedicated shift manager who will ensure that all drops are completed using optimised route planning.
Start time is between 4 am - 7:30 am on Saturday and 3 am on Sunday
Pay rates:
Saturday PAYE GBP12.91ph ** Payroll company pay rate available # GBP15.66ph **
Sunday PAYE GBP14.00ph ** Payroll company pay rate available # GBP17.04ph **
Flexibility is crucial for this role as the start times can vary depending on daily volume, with shifts lasting between 8-12 hours per day.
