Our client protects millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Their members rely on them to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

They are looking for a Senior Pension Administrator to join the team and ensure member's needs are met by dealing with their enquiries in an efficient and friendly way.

You will take responsibility for ensuring Service Level Agreements are met by managing your own work and providing support to your team. You will give guidance to our Pension Administrators, where needed, to ensure responses to members are timely, accurate and jargon free. With a high level of technical expertise, you will handle cases of varying complexity, and regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls.

Their ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar Defined Benefit pensions role and a knowledge of the relevant statutory frameworks is essential. They welcome applications from customer focused individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven attention to detail. They are also looking for great organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
