Winit (UK) Limited is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Manager in a Challenging role to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellence at its new UK branch at Tamworth. The role will involve overseeing and managing all aspects of the warehouse environment. If you are eager for a new challenge and are ready to be part of an exciting company, this is the role for you. Training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Planning, organizing the work force, supervising loading and un-loading, goods in and goods out, supporting the warehouse manager with operational tasks and overseeing the daily and weekly operations reporting and key performance (KPI) management
  2. Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and adherence to site health & safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  3. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and added value whilst key service levels are not affected
  4. Ensure all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed. Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  5. Exceptional people management, communication and leadership skills. Implementing agreed processes to review performance, monitor absence and sickness and address issues within clear guidelines
  6. Identify and escalate training and qualification gaps and conduct induction and technical training for the team
  7. Participating in regular operation reviews and conducts regular colleague briefings via the business intelligence reports
  8. Knowledge of experience of manual handling equipment and warehouse management system
  9. Ensure all matters of performance or capability are managed in line with company procedure and delivery targets are met along with excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate.Ability to work under pressure.Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced

What you will need:

  • At Least three years' progressive experience of leading and managing a warehouse team
  • Experience of promoting health and safety in the work environment.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
  • Strong and effective communication including verbal and nonverbal.
  • Exceptional organisation with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Flexibility to manage and adapt to change.
  • Positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Problem-solving skills to find solutions and make decisions.
  • Quick at learning new software systems and technologies.
  • Excellent IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office

UK or equivalent undergraduate or postgraduate degree would be beneficial to your application

Work location: Tamworth

Hours: 40 per week

Job Type: fixed term contract with possibility of becoming permanent
