Quantity Surveyor
Brighton
GBP40,000 to GBP47,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a GBP200m water contract in the South East. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC knowledge and a background in utilities keen on securing local employment on a secure contract with an award winning employer.
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team, working on clean and waste water projects across Sussex. Some of the Quantity Surveyors key duties will include:
Subcontract Management
Preparing cost value reports
Ensuring the project team is adhering to the right risk management procedures
Ensuring the correct NEC procedures are being followed
Administration of the contract
Providing support to the estimating process and supporting the project teams
Helping with the development of junior surveyorsThe successful Quantity Surveyor will be given an opportunity that includes realistic career progression, job security from a cash rich business on a long term secured contract and a competitive salary & package that includes:
Starting salary of GBP40,000 to GBP47,000
Car allowance or company car
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Annual bonus
Contributory Pension
Private healthcareQuantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have experience working in the UK on a utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure contract. You'll also need good NEC knowledge, excellent communication skills and live within a reasonable commute of Brighton.
