THE ROLE: As Market Development Specialist, the successful candidate will be managing, winning and growing key clinical and commercial relationships within hospitals and health boards - very much with a multi-level stakeholder approach. Typical contact level will be consultants, cardiologists, physiologists, nurses and procurement. Full product training will be provided and career and earning prospects are industry-leading.

This division of the company specialises in the provision of an innovative range of cardiac monitoring devices and equipment, designed with genuine patient benefits in mind and enabling procedures to be taken out of the cath lab and into stroke centres, TLOC services, A&E and care of the elderly. A rare and exciting opportunity currently exists for a dynamic, consultative, driven and clinically-credible medical sales professional to manage and further develop their business within Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland (candidate location must be Yorkshire or the North East).

As Market Development Specialist your responsibilities will include:-

Selling into clinical and procurement within in hospitals
Growing the business on your territory
Assisting customers with training and educationFor this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:-

Either selling into hospitals and looking at patient pathways
Cardiac experience a bonus but not essential
Ability to deal with multi-level stakeholders
Hunger for new business as well as account managementThe package for Market Development Specialist:

Basic: GBP45,000 to GBP52,000
Commission: 35%
Car: Fully expensed company car or generous allowance
Benefits: Healthcare, pension, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats
