A field based Service Manager role working as part of the senior management team managing a team of 15+ field Service Engineers across the UK & Ireland. Work for a world wide market leader in the manufacturing of packaging & filling machinery supplied to the beverage market. Excellent job with an excellent company.
BASIC SALARY: up to GBP60,000

LOCATION: Home based covering the UK & Ireland but ideally living within 2 hours of Birmingham
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, London
JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Manager / Service Manager - packaging machinery/ filling machinery - beverage production.
This Service Manager role will be to manage, train and up skill a team of 15+ Field Service Engineers across the UK & Ireland. You will be spending 2 to 3 days per week out in the field with your team on client sites or visiting clients or indeed hosting clients visiting the companies office to ensure repeat business and grow after sales revenues. You will also be expected to liaise and work closely with the sales team and the manufacturing sites in Europe. This is a home based role when not out or at the office.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Manager / Service Manager - packaging machinery/ filling machinery - beverage production.
?? You MUST have a proven track record as a Service Manager managing a large team of Field Service Engineers
?? You MUST have experience working for a packaging or process machinery company supplying the beverage or food industries
?? You WILL be a qualified mechanical &/or electrical/electronic Engineer
?? You will be technically credible, have gravitas and will be an excellent communicator
