A successful food manufacturing business in Norfolk is recruiting for a Specifications Technologist to join the technical team. This large and growing business are looking for someone to assist with product specifications, labels, artwork and quality control forms.

Salary: GBP 26,000 - GBP 30,000 per annum, & multiple company benefits

The Role
The Specifications Technologist will be responsible for:
Arrange the required product tests and analysis for all products, reporting the results to relevant departments
Respond to customer and internal enquiries relevant to the role, such as recipes, raw materials, specifications, allergen or nutritional information
Work with the purchasing department to ensure new ingredients, labels and packaging are compliant
Contribute to future NPD, supporting the new products from concept to launch
Assist with production runs, communicate with relevant departments, liaise closely with sales and production departments throughout this process
The Person
The ideal Specifications Technologist will have experience working to HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3
Hold experience in retailer and own-brand specification completion
A "can do" attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable as working part of a team
