Role Purpose: Working across the Community Connex Group, the Business Manager Development and Compliance will lead on delivery around all areas of business development and contractual compliance.
Reporting to: Director of Finance and Group Services, the jobholder will be responsible for the following key duties:
Developing new services and business opportunities for the Community Connex Group
Ensuring that the group is compliant with any services we are contracted to deliver. Implementing a system of contract monitoring ensuring all projects / contracts have clear objectives and a performance monitoring process defined so we can report and clearly demonstrate added value and compliance with the terms of the contract
Act as Project Manager for new services/projects as identified taking them through implementation stage
Writing tender and grant funding bids, working in conjunction with external bid writers where appropriate.
Conduct desk research and gather market intelligence to support business operations and service development
Any other relevant duty as assigned by the line manager
Our ideal candidate should demonstrate experience of implementing multiple income generation strategies and commercial acumen. Capacity to act as internal consultant with expert knowledge on monitoring and evaluation of business activities. Ability to initiate and develop new business streams, attract funding opportunities, manage contracts, good understanding of the Third Sector, and relate at all levels while demonstrating our values in campaigning for disabled people.
