What you do

As a Creative Account Manager at Sun-Strategy, providing a world class customer experience will be at the core of everything you do. You will be acutely aware of the moments that matter to the client and enhance their experience at every interaction point, conversely you will understand their pain points and ensure these are mitigated. You will be working across retail and branded clients and although your focus will be on the management and delivery of creative projects, you will also support all areas of the business in delivery of our innovative, sustainable and measurable solutions for our global client base by identifying opportunities / needs of your clients.

This is an exciting fast-paced role working for a pioneering company in a dynamic creative industry supporting the Senior Account Managers and Account Directors. A positive customer centric attitude complimented with a strong skill set is a must.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a history of proactive and effective project management in a creative environment. You will communicate confidently & effectively having developed your skills and strong relationships with your clients.

As the main day to day contact for clients, you will understand their product portfolio and requirements and not be afraid to challenge if you feel there is a better solution. It is imperative that you can manage multiple projects/clients concurrently ensuring all projects are run efficiently and effectively and are delivered on budget, utilising the company's software solutions, following agreed best practices and working in a collaborative cross functional manner.

We are looking for someone with a background in a creative role with a minimum 3 years of industry experience. You will have had exposure to high profile retail clients / FMCG brands and must have client facing experience.

What you'll deliver:

Provide an exceptional customer experience, satisfying their higher objectives before, during and after projects. Ensuring all KPIs are met

Understand the full supply chain for your client and where you add value. Respond and manage all creative activity confidently, efficiently to brief, on budget and on time.

Ensure all commercial aspects relating to your projects are delivered in accordance with the commercial strategy on time and in full.

Assume full accountability for all activity for your clients, plan appropriately, consult cross functionally and inform stakeholders to ensure alignment and management of expectations.

Highlight and escalate risks with mitigating action plans/engage require support in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary disappointment.

Write well-articulated, informed briefs for the creative team supporting with verbal briefs.

Conduct Market, Brand, Range and post launch reviews at the right time, ensure observations are shared and improvements are addressed and actioned in a timely manner to deliver positive outcomes.

Reviewing designs to ensure they meet your brief and present to clients with confidence and supporting rational.

You will be a proficient presenter.

Customer focus

Demonstrate knowledge of your customers brands, competitors and market challenges. Have an opinion.

Your customer focus should be internal and external. Ensure you understand your customers needs & deliver to meet their expectations avoiding any negative experience.

Fill your clients with confidence that you are an expert, you have industry knowledge and educate and elevate the knowledge of stakeholders whenever necessary.

Develop a strong progressive relationship with your clients exceeding their expectations with every moment that matters and removing their pain points.

Establish yourself as your clients 'go to' person. Recognise their challenges and use this to effectively upsell Sun-Strategy services.

Always communicate in a clear concise and informative manner bother verbally and written.

Problem solving and improvement

Understand your client's needs (sometimes before they do) make the right recommendations at the right time.

Use the tools available to you. Analyse information, resources and processes to solve process or client problems.

Working with the Senior Account Managers and Account Directors, always look for forward thinking solutions to business or client challenges.

Where complaints are received, ensure investigations take place in a timely manner to establish root case and corrective actions.

Escalate problems in a timely manner. Identify potential solutions for further discussions

What knowledge and training you need

It's essential that:

You have a minimum 3 years' experience

You have experience managing creative projects. Graphics would be an added advantage.

You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels with internal and external customers

You are professional, proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates "can do" attitude

You are a great problem solver

You are commercially astute

Computer literate - MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

You are organised and calm under pressure

Current, clean driving licence: you will be expected to visit clients at their sites.

Must have 3-5 years agency experience in an Account Management role.
