Stores & Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Stores & Warehouse Operatives to join our team based in Bardon Hill. We offer an excellent salary of GBP10.32 per hour up to GBP11.38 per hour dependent on experience, training and shift pattern, plus other benefits including overtime and 33 days holiday.

What will you be doing as our Stores & Warehouse Operative?

- Picking & packing goods for export and inhouse manufacture

- Handling high value parts and large components

- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed

- Shrinkwrapping

- Unloading deliveries

- General housekeeping

- Movement of goods between our 3 local sites using our company vans

- Undertake any other tasks as necessary.

Stores & Warehouse Operative working hours: 38.75 hours per week Two shifts Available!

Afternoon - Monday to Thursday 1.15pm-9.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Friday 10.15am to 6.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Early - Monday to Friday 6am-2.15pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Annual Performance bonus and 33 days holiday per year.

What makes you our ideal Stores & Warehouse Operative?

You will be cooperative and helpful and possess some or all of the following:

- Previous experience of using a forklift truck (reach and/or counter balance)

- Previous stores experience

- Full driving License

- Previous experience of operating an overhead gantry crane.

Further training would be provided for those with the right ambition and attitude.

You must be:

- Conscientious

- Reliable and a good timekeeper

- Hardworking & selfmotivated

- Enjoy practical work in an engineering environment - the role involves physical activity so a level of fitness would be required

- Enthusiastic to learn new skills

- You must have a good understanding of English (written and oral)

- Flexible - you may be asked to work overtime on occasion
