Accounts Assistant - Chesterfield - GBP25,000 pro-rata

Hays are exclusively working with a family-run manufacturing organisation, based in Chesterfield, that is currently looking to expand their finance team.

Your new role
No 2 days will be the same. The role has a massive scope as you will be involved in all aspects of the transactional finances i.e. Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Account & Statement Reconciliations, International Invoices. Moreover, you will also be able to get stuck into Payroll duties, helping collate and submit monthly payroll. Assisting with Month & Year-end and even management accounts, looking at Profit & Loss, Budgets & Forecasting. If you are wanting to broaden your experience, this is the right role for you!

What you'll need to succeed
The client is looking for someone who has all-around knowledge in many of the areas, if not all, within a working environment for multiple years. Preferable Level 4 AAT Qualified or QBE. You will have a friendly and helping nature, someone who will be happy to pick up their colleague's work.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available as the client is looking for someone who is willing to work between 30 - 37.5 hours. Your salary can be up to GBP25,000 pro-rata, depending on experience and holidays are 20 + 8 Bank Holiday Days, however, can buy additional holidays. On-site parking is available. You will work in a friendly and warming environment that will offer you support and external training courses for your personal development.
