Windows Server Engineer: 3rd line, Windows, Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, Storage, Infrastructure
Opportunity for a 3rd line Windows Server Engineer to join this global organization with EMEA headquarters in Southampton.
In this role you will be a key part of the team managing and supporting their EMEA Server environment. The role will involve BAU support as well as projects.
Home working flexibility in conjunction with time in the office is offered.
Key skills and experience sought for Windows Server Engineer:
- Proven experience installing, managing and supporting Windows Server environments
- Support of email and messaging systems
- Experience with VMWare environments and Citrix ideal
- Storage experience of interest
- Project management skills to manage install upgrades and projects ideal
- Troubleshoot Infrastructure incidents and service requests
- Systems upgrades and patching
- 24/7 support (on a call rota basis and emergencies only - typically around 1-2 calls per week)
- Experience with on prem environment
- First class team working and interpersonal skills
