Chalid Industrial Recruitment are currently seeking Production Operatives / Factory Operatives and Forklift Drivers to join a well-established organisation based close to Royston. You must be Health & Safety conscious and also be a good team player.
Shift:
05:45 - 13:45 Monday - Thursday
05:45 - 12.45 Friday
You will need to be relatively flexible (overtime and varying shift patterns when required) and be interested in continuous professional development within a large firm.
The ideal candidate will need to be physically fit.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Operating the machinery in a safe working manner
•Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
•Keeping machines supplied with materials
•Maintaining up keeping machinery by conducting regular pre-production checks
•Reporting machinery faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff
•Setting up the production line and making periodic changes needed to manufacture different products.
•Making minor adjustments to machine settings to improve quality and efficiency
•Keeping the machines and work area clean and tidy during the shift
•Adhering to Company Health and Safety polices at all times, wearing the correct company PPE while working in the plant and yard
