Industrial Personnel are recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to work for our client, based near Barnsley (S73). Our client is a major regional supplier and specialises in structural steelwork.
The Job:
* GBP11 - GBP13 PH (D.O.E).
* Permanent position.
* Based in the Barnsley area (S73).
* This position will include general welding and fabrications.
The Person:
* Ability to read and fully understand engineering drawings and fabricate steelwork with minimal supervision.
* Must be fully qualified in Fabrication and Welding, ideally with a Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
* Experienced with working with large structural steel beams, preferably with at least 5 years' experience
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate a competent ability to both fabricate and weld steel components to a high standard. Please note a weld test may be part of the interview process.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.
Regular overtime is available, and it is expected a reasonable amount will be done.
