Production Manager

The Company:

What do we do? Ikan design, manufacture and despatch paper crafting products to be sold live on various TV shopping channels, both in the UK and Internationally, so it’s an exciting business to be a part of.

To support our growth plans, we are looking for an experienced Production/Packing Manager to oversee the operation and running of the Production and Packing teams.

The Role:

The Production & Packing Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is accountable for leading the Print Production and Packing teams to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled on time, efficiently and cost-effectively whilst meeting company KPI’s. The role is also responsible for maintaining high technical and quality standards through the development of people, processes and systems.

Hours:

The hours of work are Monday - Thursday, 07:00 until 16:00 and Friday, 07:00 until 14:00. As this is a management position, there may be a requirement for you to work outside of this, if and when required.

The person:

• Proven management and leadership experience within a print manufacturing environment.
• Proven people management experience i.e. managing teams through effective use of performance reviews, coaching, training and disciplinary procedures as required.
• Be a competent, motivational leader who is able to appropriately delegate
• Willingness to be hands-on with day to day operations
• Commercial acumen and financial awareness.
• Excellent listening, written and oral communication and training skills
• Ability to multi-task and utilise resources to execute tasks within a deadline-oriented environment with tight timelines
